Overview
Redesigned the website to be mobile-friendly with the aim to increase direct bookings. Created website content for the new “Step into our Neighborhood” tagline by identifying unique offers of the city and translating this to guests through engaging content.
My Role
Working directly with the owner and manager, I was tasked to redesign the website with a focus on Marquette’s rebrand. Additionally, I was tasked to design the website with mobile-friendly features in mind. Using Squarespace design, HTML, and CSS, I created a website that maximized mobile-friendly usage and aligned with the hotel’s brand.

Located in one of Madison, Wisconsin's most historic neighborhoods embedded in rich history and culture, The Marquette Hotel wants its guests to feel as if they are part of the Williamson-Marquette community. The space offers an outstanding experience to guests by sharing the joys of the neighborhood. Its messages are encompassed in familiarity. Guests leave the hotel feeling a sense of deep-rooted knowledge, appreciation, and comfort. The Marquette remains successful in making you feel like you never left once you return to the Williamson-Marquette neighborhood.
Content Creation
Overview
The Marquette Hotels’ aim is to create engaging content to attract independent travelers that prefer Airbnb-like rentals in addition to distinct experiences. The local business wanted to establish a strong brand presence as well as a prosperous reputation with Madison locals. Social media posts, ads, posters achieved this.
My Role
I was tasked to create a wide variety of content that would translate the hotel’s unique offerings to customers and Madison locals. I approached content creation by highlighting what the location of the hotel has to offer and centering the Marquette’s voice around its strong reputation and welcoming presence.
