During my time as a Social Media Intern for the College of Letters and Science at UW-Madison, I utilized innovative content strategies to advance underrepresented voices and foster engagement across multiple platforms. My Role:
As a Social Media Intern, I managed the college's social media accounts, creating and curating content tailored to announce campus news and events, highlight student achievements, faculty initiatives, and institutional values. My responsibilities included developing campaign strategies, analyzing performance metrics to refine content, and collaborating with team members to ensure cohesive messaging. Through this role, I honed my skills in audience engagement, visual storytelling, and inclusive marketing practices, contributing to a dynamic digital presence for the Center for Academic Excellence.
The Center for Academic Excellence (CAE) at UW-Madison is a supportive academic program designed to help undergraduate students achieve their academic and personal goals. CAE primarily serves first-generation college students, students from low-income backgrounds, and students from historically underrepresented groups. Its mission is to promote equity and inclusivity in higher education by providing resources, guidance, and a sense of community.
